I purchased a new Galaxy flip phone about a month ago basically because I kept cracking the screen on my S10. I figured that an enclosed screen would hold up way better. I also wear a Dexcom device and I needed a phone which would connect to the Dexcom transmitter and I was amazed that it did. The phone does have a decent camera and I don't see any issue with the screen where it folds. I'm quite happy with this phone and how small it is folded and in my pocket

I bought two of these in October and I am going to get rid of them as soon as I can. Both have had cases on them. One was a samsung case. One was a case from Verizon. I've had to replace both phones. One was from a 2 foot drop with the case on. It landed on the hinge, would not open fully, and something was poking the screen from the inside and took the screen out completely. The second phone was not dropped and started doing this spontaneously. I was promised the hinge and screen issues were taken care of but they have not been. My mother also bought this phone and has had the same thing happen. I will not buy another flip or fold and even the brand is now debatable to me. I've bought nothing but Samsung products but this one has cost me and has been the worst product I've bought in a long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact, Practical, Great Phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this phone for a little over a month and I am very impressed by the fluid and seamless graphics...the camera is great, and there are a ton of new features! The phone is very compact once it's folded, which makes it easy to stick in your pocket without having to worry about scratching the face. I would definitely recommend this phone to a friend. My wife has one as well and loves hers too. There are a ton of really nice cases available online.

Awesome idea, still plagued by mechanical issues a

In most ways I absolutely love this phone. It changes the way you interact with the phone, often I find I don't open my phone all day just checking the little notification screen which is great and a huge way to save staring at the phone and wasting time.
With the above said, out of nowhere, my hinge stopped working, and even though I have extended warranty it's a whole process to get a phone replaced, now that Samsung is going back to having phones with mechanical failure potential they need to do better with allowing repairs and getting same day repairs in every city. My only option now that my hinge broke, is to send it in for a warranty repair wait two weeks and then get it back. Who can be without their phone for 2 weeks?

But I got pressured about 6 months ago to try an APPLE IPHONE.I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET RID OF IT.SAMSUNG IS MUCH BETTER,MORE UNIVERSAL, AND MY FLIP PHONE HAS MUCH MUCH MORE PERSONALIZED FEATURES AND THE CAMERA IS CLEAR AND HAS GREAT EDITING OPTIONS.I LOVE MY FLIP SERIOUSLY. APPLE IS WAY TOO OVERATED AND OVERPRICED. ITS ALL HYPE.IF YOU WANT A PHONE THAT ACTUALKY WORKS FOR YOU AND CANNSIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE, JUST STICK WITH SAMSUNG.IF ITS NOT BROKE, DONT FOLLIW THE HYPE.
