Great case!

Case fits phone well and appears to be well constructed. The grips help to prevent drops especially with one handed use. Have to press harder on button covers to use buttons but based on previous experience this improves with continued use.

Almost perfect case but has a couple issues

I would give it a perfect rating but it has a couple of shortcomings compared to the Presidio grip cases. The ridges should be softer to get a better grip. It also makes a squeaking noise when you press the phone a certain way. Otherwise it is a great case with awesome protection and it looks great!

Almost completely satisfied ‚ but not grippy enough

I love Speck products ‚they have always made me feel safe with my tech gear, knowing nothing will happen to them even if they fall ‚ but this case was a rare quasi-disappointment! I got the "with Grips" case specifically because my hands aren't what they use to be, and I really want to keep a FIRM grip on my iPhone, because it was so expensive. Well, this case certainly does have a lot of ridges, but it still feels rather slippery in my hands, and when I put the phone (in this case) down on a surface like a table, or the dashboard of my car, it still slides around. I think the grips part needs to be less hard plastic and more rubbery, like it was on my old Speck MightyShell case. As it is, I had to add a few strips of Dragon Grips to the side and back of this case to keep it in my hands, and from scooting across slick/shiny tables. It is *great* with the Dragon Grips: nice and clear, shows off my rose gold phone beautifully, and I know my phone is safe. I just wish they would improve on the "Grips" aspect!

I use this every day on my phone, working at a location that sells phones and accessories, it's imperative that I have a tough case that looks good doing it. I love how this case feels and it's especially smooth yet easy to keep hold of with the grips.

Great grip and protection w/o hiding that expensive phone

In the past I've had 2 Speck grip cases: the Candyshell and the Presidio. The ribs on those are of a silicone rubber and actually resist sliding. When I first got this crystal clear one I thought it was slippery because the ribs are made of the same crystal-clear polycarbonate material that makes the case transparent. But the next day all feeling of slipperiness was gone, maybe from use or from relearning the muscle memory of holding the phone. Now I love the case which makes the BIG iPhone easy to grip and really allows the beauty of the phone to show through. As always, Speck products are very high quality and it's obvious this case is rugged and will protect the phone from drops. I rate this case 5 stars!
