I put my trust into a failty piece of hardware

I bought my drive maybe a year ago after my last hhd crash and since it was my only ssd in my computer out of multiple drives I used it for my work files and my backup. The drive crashed and Ive lost the past years worth of files and I have to suffer because of faulty hardware.

The disk was no longer detected in the system

Totally disappointing, the drive stopped working in less than one and half years of using it. It is very frustrating to trust a product and invest money in it that suddenly stops working. and I lose all my valuable data.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used this for an old Mac laptop and replaced the original hard drive to this SSD. As expected the speed was 10x faster from boot time to loading applications. Even with a 10 year old processor i5 this SSD made the Mac faster than it was originally. I also use Samsung SSDs but this one has the same speed but cheaper. I also used Sandisk USB to load the Mac OS which is very reliable. I partition and format it many times loading Mac or Windows OS. So this is one of the brands I trust.
