Defective and Costly Return

The drive connected and it loaded fine in Windows 10. But from the first start-up it goes clunk, clunk, clunk. Packaged it up and started the Best Buy return process. "THIS ITEM IS ELIGIBLE FOR IN-STORE RETURN ONLY". This information should have appeared in the item description. My nearest Best Buy is two hours away. If I had known that I would not have purchased it. Returning this is going to cost at least half a day of time and a half a tank of fuel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WD mislead a 9.09 T as a 10 T hard drive.

easy to set up, so far so good. the reason I give a 4 star, it actually only has 9.09 T not as it advertised a 10 T hard drive.

large enough to backup everything

Just hope that WD reliability won't fail me. I also have a WD MyBook 4TB for over 4 years with good reliability so hope this won't let me down...

Excellent Product

WD has never failed me. Seagate drives are a disaster. This 10tb unit is relatively quick for a drive of this size, easy to use and does everything it should. The only negative I can find is there was a slight humming sound from the unit out of the box. Resting it on gel isolators fixed it right up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

wd backup pas possible

Après l'achat, je me suis aperçu que le Wd backup et security n'est pas possible avec ce disque externe. Quelle déception. Pourquoi ne pas l'inclure, c'est ridicule. Je vais retourner ce produit au magasin.

I bought this to back up my backups. I have too many files which I don't want to lose. I trust WD, as much you can trust any technology, although I did have one break down on me. But all is good. The 10tb capacity offers limitless ways to use it.
