Always Sharp!

I love the self sharpening block! It's so simple; pull out your knife and replace it; your knife is sharp. Everybody needs sharp knives. It is a great design because every slot is labeled so it's easy to see where each knife belongs.
Gourmet knives are made of high carbon German steel in Germany so you know they are sharp and are going to stay that way. Because they are stamped, not forged, they are lighter, flexible and less expensive than their forged "cousin". They have that great three rivet handle that is both comfortable and durable. I love the logo as the second pin in the handle. Guaranteed to last a lifetime

Great essential knife set! The Gourmet line feels solid in your hand. They are well made out of German stainless steel. I love the look of the modern stainless steel with the dark wood block. Super low edge maintenance with this self-sharpening block.

This self-sharpening block houses a great assortment of knives. Blades are sharpened each time you remove or reinsert them to their designated slot. Storage block has slots for adding 8 steak knives.

Step into the present time with this self sharpening block set. The 7 pc selection is a perfect starting point. you will never need to sharpen your knives again. The knives are balanced and comfortable to hold. I like the classic three rivet deign of the handle.

Nice set of German knives, with a sharpener built into the block. Sharp every time we use them. The knives included are very practical. I like that there were additional slots so we could add steak knives.
