Great knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Granted this is my first set of "real" knives so this is better than anything I've owned before! I just live how sharp the knives are. It's been one month of using them a few times a week and they have not lost any of their sharpness!

They are more than knives—they’re a work of art and they make food prep a joy. And the self-sharpening block is amazing and invaluable. Why did I wait so long to pamper myself?

great for small spaces

I wanted a good set that didnt take up much space. This set has me covered with everything from prep sized knives to a large serrated bread knife. The German made steel blades are high quality. They are well balanced and the handles are comfortable to hold. The self sharpening block doesnt take up much space. Each slot is clearly labeled for each specific knife. The slots are individually engineered to keep each knife at their optimal sharpness.
