I cannot rate this motherboard yet since I just got my new build working a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I really care about is reliability, durability, and long life, so if it lasts 5 years I'll be happy, but any less is unacceptable. For now, I like the clear documentation and support on the Asus site, but I don't like it that I had zero diagnostic info until I plugged in a functioning CPU. It would be nice if it beeped or something to tell me my CPU was bad.

This beautiful piece of work is great. I have had no issues on installing real easy to work with if you are tech ignorant or just a noob when you build your first computer. My only issue is having a Bluetooth identity crisis but unless you are trying to hook up a ps4 controller you are good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing issues with the BIOS.
Typically, loading optimize default inside the BIOS setup page will resolve any issue unless a hardware issue exists. If this step didn't resolve the issue and the motherboard is running with an older BIOS version, please flash the BIOS to the most current version. The BIOS file is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-b550-plus-ac-hes/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=PRIME-B550-PLUS-AC-HES. Consider loading optimize default in the BIOS setup page after a successful BIOS update. This will initialize all I/O devices successfully with the new BIOS.

I give 5 stars because the PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES is a perfect fit for my build. I had to get away from Gigabyte's MB with Fusion RGB 2.0 that I had used for the last few years and just got tired of trying to get it to work right and so far this Asus MB has worked great for me!

I bought this AM4 mobo so I could upgrade my CPU. It functions well with only 2 hiccups so far .... with 4 x 16 RAM stix in the board it does not work. I had to remove 2 of the stix. (yes, they were all the same kind). The black jack for the rear speaker does not work. (yes, I configured for both 2 and 4 speakers). I ordered a Xonar SE and I hope it works (my Xonar DG does not fit this mobo.)

Amazing product and works well.Great for my new build.Fits very well into my case and the color of the motherboard goes with my build.Would recommend if you need a good am4 motherboard.
