All in all the board itself is nice and has just what I needed to upgrade from a prebuilt pc to stay on am4. The drivers however, on the official site they simply do not work especially for wifi and Bluetooth! Had to go on reddit to find a way to install the wifi drivers and then install armory crate to get all the other drivers. It turned a simple thing into a full blown headache
I don't have any issues with the product, it works perfectly in the computer I made with it and was a perfect choice because it supports DDR4 and I didn't want to buy new ram.
I have been using this motherboard in my new build for a couple weeks now and the quality is there especially the wifi capabilities. An example of this is when downloading on steam I can get speeds of up to 600mbs which on my last motherboard only seemed like a dream. Furthermore I appreciate the built in light it helps a lot when diagnosing what is wrong when my PC wouldn't start up and let me know that the motherboard is getting power but so far I have no regrets in buying this motherboard.
The ASUS PRIME B550M-A WiFi II is a really good motherboard for the price. It was easy to install and works perfectly with my Ryzen 5 processor. The built-in WiFi is a big plus and saves you from needing extra adapters. BIOS is user-friendly and has good options like PBO and Resizable BAR for better performance.
It runs stable, supports fast RAM, and has enough ports for most setups. Overall, it’s a great choice for gaming or a mid-range PC build.
Ive been using this for gaming and it renders almost any game I play just fine the only problem i will say is it overheates quickly on some games like helldivers but other than that I have never had a problem with it.
