I love this board for min-itx builds. Mine in larger case right now, but as soon as find a GPU that fits in an ITX case, it’s going in.
You can use a mouse in bios and most features are easy to find, for those that are not search works great. Also I was easily able to get my RAM up to its 6,000 speeds and timings, and it is fully stable.

Got this after trying another ITX board that had inferior power delivery and didn't let me push my 9950X3D to the max. The Strix B850I does everything I need it to do and more! The overclocking was easy, the BIOS is straightforward, and it looks pretty good too. No complaints!

Has everything the average gamer could hope for in a MiniITX, including more fan headers than most, which offers more build flexibility for larger cases and fan arrays. Port shroud is also low enough to allow for squeezing tighter air coolers in the limited CPU space. Works great!

Motherboard runs cool with the AI feature being very helpful with overclocking and optimization. While I do not use it since I manually put settings for my CPU, the AI overclock feature is a very nice change for new PC users.

The B850-I has a lot of good features, but the M.2 gen 5 does not work properly. I had to switch the port to gen 4 in order for it work. Noticed that computer wouldn’t boot up properly because it wasn’t detecting the SSD in the front. At first I thought it was because the M.2 wasn’t seated properly so I reseated. Same issue happen. Then I did some digging and saw other people were having the same issue. They had to switch to gen 4 and it works 100%. Asus need to push out a bios update to fix this issue!

Dear Sgr33n,
Thank you for your comment.
We do understand your disappointment with this motherboard and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are having issues using a M.2 Gen 5.0 SSD. To resolve this problem, ensure your M.2 SSD is compatible with the motherboard, update the BIOS, and check if a device is disabling the PCIe slot. If the problem persists, try setting the M.2 slot to a specific generation like Gen 5 in the BIOS settings instead of using "Auto".
