Smart little machine

I’ve always had the bigger machines but found out this is perfect size for all that I usually do. It’s great for the mending but also the jobs I do around the house. Simple to thread.. rolling the bobin and so forth. Great little machine

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

After using my Singer for 60 years, it was finally time to buy another. I thought this would be perfect since I only use it for repairs any more. The bobbin casing would move with the bobbin which would break the needle. I did everything I knew to make sure it was seated correctly but that did not help. I've learned that Singer sold out to a company overseas so you no longer get quality you can rely on. I would definitely not buy any new Singer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please do not waste your money on this very poorly made very flimsy machine. The plastic machine part that holds the bobbin case snapped in half - major machine part. Cannot glue back - nothing. DO NOT BUY

Verified Purchase:Yes
Could not thread the needle or follow the directions, even after many tries. There was not enough space for my hands to manipulate the presser foot, the finger guard or the needle. I liked the light weight of this machine, but I am returning it because of it's small size. Will keep looking for a Singer machine that is light weight and easy to manipulate and thread.

Small, compact machine with lots of power

It is a cute little machine that doesn’t take up much room. I would recommend this machine to anyone who needs a mending machine. Thanks Singer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sowing machine called the mending machine from singer is so nice to use. It's easy to use. Comes with easy to read instructions. As long as you pay attention on how to set it up and use you can make blankets with ease.
