[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Kind of my first dive into mending but it works very well. Easy to use and set up. I would recommend for any beginner. It is very explanatory and there are all kinds of videos to help for new people.

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machine. It is perfect for beginners as well as those skilled in sewing. It is just your basic stitch machine but it is a workhorse. It sews beautifully every time. I got this to have when I just need to do a quick hem or a small project and it is the perfect machine for the job. I am also teaching my daughter to sew using this machine.

lightweight, compact and even portable. It has 32 Stitch applications, mends seams and tears with durable lockstitch. Great for small spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was in school, we were so poor I had to sew all my own clothes. I promised myself that once I got a job and could buy the same clothes all the cool kids were wearing, I'd never sew again. So, living into that promise, I haven't sewn anything (other than small repairs by hand) for years. There have been a few times (e.g. seams that had come apart) when I wished I had a machine, but I don't really have the space for it and rarely have a need. Then I saw the M1000. It was the perfect option - it's really small and weighs very little, so can easily be stored on a closet shelf, it has built in LED lighting, so I can put it anywhere and it's good to go, it has a variety of basic stitch options and it works like a champ! Now, if you're looking for all the bells and whistles, this is not the machine for you, but if you want a machine for a beginner or simply want a machine to fix torn seams or complete basic projects (my next one will be throw pillow covers, which thanks to the M1000, will save me all kinds of money:-)), this thing is THE bomb!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my m1000 mending machine it comes in handy because I like to make masks hats and wigs I love this machine and it has different designs patterns on it so you can mend different designs patterns very satisfied with my product and will most definitely recommend to family and friends

Nice and lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mended a rip in a pair of pants, removed elastic waistband from another and sewed it right back up. I would say it is probably good for mending or light fabric projects. I wouldn’t try to make a dress or a large project on this machine, but it might work. the foot pedal is not a variator, it is simple a basic on/off switch. Meaning that there is no way to change the sewing speed, and there is no way to do a soft start or end slowly. It's lightweight.

Great for beginners

The sewing machine isn't made for big projects which is good since I only mend small holes. The different stitching help with different clothes, fabrics ,and the position of the hole. Overall it helps and gets the job done.

Great for Mending

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this Singer M1000 Mending Machine to hem some drapes. This machine worked great for what I need. This is a simple sewing machine. Comes with needles, bobbins and a foot petal. Will do simple mending stitches total of 11. Threads easy, no puckering of seams. Easy to use.
