Great for Beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the SINGER - M1000 Mending Machine as a beginner. It is small, light, and convenient for storing and learning on. Out of the box it is made with quality materials and with a little direction easy to use. I think this product would be perfect for any beginner or seasoned sewer as it is not an intimidating machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I love the compact size of this mending machine. It was easy to set up and I was impressed with the selection of stitches. My granddaughter actually used it to mend our Christmas tablecloth!

Giving this a Good instead of Average...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest problem I've found with this machine is the needle stops randomly and you can't change the sewing speed-it is one speed only. I do have to admit I am impressed with the weight and size. This makes it very easy to move from room to room or even travel with. I recently loaded it up (without any problem whatsoever) and took it to my daughter's new home and sewed her curtains she made from dropcloth material and a table skirt and it did the job! It was very convenient to be able to take it along! I do recommend this M1000 machine if you do not have a lot of sewing and just need something quick and easy to do the job. If you are an experienced sewer and do big jobs than this one is not the one for you and I recommend going with a bigger machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SINGER - M1000 Mending Machine, is the perfect little starter machine for those that have never used a machine previously, or for those that want a small compact machine that can be brought out for simple quick fixes.
The mending machine comes with all the needed items to use out of the box and as a guy who has literally no experience with this type of product, I was able to use it easily after watching a few online videos and a little bit of practice. My wife, who has more experience with sewing machines, found it easy to use and intuitive.
The product is made from good quality materials and does not seem cheap, just don't expect it to be in the same league as it's bigger brothers. This is a simple starter machine that just does the basics, if you are making clothing for a living, purchase a bigger product.
This is an awesome little starter product that is easy to use, even for beginners and I thoroughly recommend it to others looking for a small simple mending machine.

Smooth sewing

I have been able to make several clothing repairs easily with this machine. It is very easy to operate and sews smoothly. I like the different functions of the machine I can use depending on the work I’m doing. Im very pleased with the quality and function of the Singer mending machine.

Singer M1000 Mending Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instruction booklet that comes with the mending machine is very easy to understand. After getting it ready to use it works very well mending hems and other things similar to that. It is light weight if you want to pick it up and move it from one room to the other. I also like the different kind of stitch that it makes. I am looking forward to using it.

The instruction booklet is very handy to get going, like threading the bobbins, changing needles, the 32 stitch patterns to pick from. Great to have around for small repairs. i even made a pillow with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mending machine is the best! I have hemmed pants, fixed ripped seams even made a Christmas stocking with it. It is lightweight but very durable. Great for small to medium repairs on clothing. I would recommend this product.
