Start Serging Simply

The SINGER® S0100 Serger makes it easy to see why a serger can be such a game changer for garment sewing, stretchy fabrics, and clean project finishing. On a standard sewing machine, finishing a seam can mean sewing the seam, trimming the excess, and then going back to finish the raw edge. With this serger, those three steps happen in one smooth pass, saving time while giving projects a much more polished, professional-looking inside.
I especially appreciate the color-coded thread guides. Threading a serger can feel intimidating at first, but the guides make the path easier to follow and help you understand how each thread works with the loopers and needles. It has made the learning process feel much more approachable instead of mysterious.
The differential feed is another feature I have found especially helpful. It gives me more control when working with fabrics that may stretch, wave, or pucker, helping seams lay flatter and look more intentional. It is a feature that makes a noticeable difference as you begin working with a wider range of fabrics.
I also love that the machine includes a digital manual for quick references to tension-system charts, threading information, and other helpful resources. Being able to access that guidance when I need it is convenient, and I appreciate the more eco-friendly approach of reducing unnecessary paper waste.
Overall, the S0100 is a great option for someone who wants to start serging simply while still having the tools to build confidence and grow into more advanced projects.

Easy to set up and works perfectly for my needs. I'd just make the presser foot lifting lever was on my right as i can'tget used to the one on my left, but this is personal preference. Everything else is good.

I am new to the world of serging, but I have found the whole experience fascinating. Threading the machine is one of the most challenging parts of using the machine. Once you have overcome this hurdle, the rest is easy-peasy.

Best Machine Ever

I got the machine about two years ago. It was the best thing that I did. I love my machine, and would totally get another one if this one does not work. I use it all the time. The only thing that I don't have on my machine is a thread cutter which would be handy. I got my machine from a different store, but it is exactly the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incomplete Serger

I just received my S0100 server sooo disappointing... Did not come pre threaded did not come with thread....but the most disappointing was that THE thread holder was not attached to machine...now I have to figure out how to fix this huge problem...Will singer compensate me and make it right?

Disappointed

This machine was supposed to come pre-threaded, the whole reason why I purchased the serger. I have never used one before and absolutely know nothing about threading it. Disappointed I had to pay someone to thread it when the website says otherwise.......
