If you have the XM4s don't buy these

The title speaks for itself, if you have the xm4’s no need to buy these over them. Personally I do like the sleek design but not being able to fold them is a huge loss for me as I’m a student and usually have to carry my headphones in my backpack. Thus they have a big case when compared to the XM4s. The active noise cancellation is “a bit better” then the XM4 but then you’d expect that as the technology progresses. Also a bit to note the size of the ear cushions are a bit smaller than the XM4.

Love these headphones! Absolutely worth the money. All of the features are amazing. Wouldnt purchase if you have the 4s but definitely would otherwise. Wish the headband was comfier like the 4s but cant complain about anything else.

I really do want to love them but they are so big that they don't stay on my head. I can't wear them anywhere except for sitting still at my desk. Sad to have to return them as I had high hopes for them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfortable, versatile, and great sound!

First off, battery life is excellent, I never have to worry about the headphones dying, and I only have to charge it once every couple days. Next, the sound is great, I will say though, you will need to play around with the EQ settings to achieve good sound, the default EQ settings out the box are alright. They are pretty comfortable, I use them everyday in long sessions, watching videos, listening to music, and even while in the gym. My only complaint would be that they do feel slightly flimsy, like I could easily break them if I wanted to, but I did buy warranty so I don’t really care.

I’ve used airpods for years and nothing can beat the Sony XM5. The sound is so much better, noise cancelling is majestic, I just love it!
