I bought this laptop to replace an older one from another company. My main criteria was something that could handle photo and video editing quickly. My research led me to consider a gaming machine because of their ability to handle complex graphics quickly. I was not disappointed. This machine is amazing. The speed of processing is faster that I had hoped and the renditions of photos and videos is super sharp and clear. Worth every penny!
The laptop is fast and has good capacity for streaming. However, every time I start it up, I am inundated with pop ups from HP Omen. These are not pop ups on a particular site. These are built into the laptop itself. Omen Gaming Hub and other pop ups really ruin the experience. Consequently, I cannot recommend buying this model.
This laptop is excellent. I spent about a month and a half looking at laptops and I'm happy that I decided on this one. It has a fast keyboard which can light up any color you'd like. It has a high quality screen with good resolution. At first I was worried that I wouldn't like the glossiness of the screen, but now that I have it, I do. I was able to get this one which has a whole 2 TB of storage and also 32gb of RAM, which is great, I have plenty of space for all of my video files and it performs well. I haven't tested the capabilities of the graphics card yet. The one challenging thing about using this laptop is that sometimes I accidentally brush against the touchpad when I'm typing and it clicks into the middle of a paragraph I already wrote and starts typing in there. That's annoying when that happens, but it's not specific to this laptop, and everything else about it is great. It has a good amount of ports too.
Stylish and Lightweight, but Screen and Fan Could Be Better

I’ve been using this laptop for a while, and overall, it’s a great device. It’s stylish, lightweight, and offers solid performance, making it a good choice for productivity and general use. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The screen is quite reflective, which can be distracting, especially in bright environments. A matte screen or an anti-glare coating would have been a great addition. Another issue is the fan noise—while the laptop generally runs smoothly, the fan can get quite loud at times, especially during software installations or heavier tasks. This can be annoying, particularly in quiet settings like a classroom. Despite these minor issues, the laptop excels in design, portability, and performance. If the screen reflection and fan noise aren’t dealbreakers for you, it’s still a solid choice.
Decent performance, cpu not incredible, do your research on components.

I should’ve researched the parts a little better before buying. Lightweight, graphics good, looks good on exterior. Battery life decent. Advertised as capable of gaming/high performance, doesn’t quite deliver. I got this as a CS student for its high RAM, and seemingly high performance. It can take moderate stress on the cpu, but cpu bottlenecks while RAM still has plenty to go. It can run basic games ok, but can start to slow down when you get into some actual gameplay.
