Nice, fast little machine, Needs adapters for your old peripherals

A lovely little machine which has a smaller keyboard than my 17" Omen so I'm still getting used to it. It's very fast to respond, sometimes a little too fast and I find I've gone back to the taskbar when my mouse strays a bit or I touch the keyboard. Still trying to make print larger generally as it tends to vary from website to website.
I still prefer the mouse than using other methods and that's using the only USB slot that fits!
I'm looking at getting more of the peripherals that go with it, like headphones, USB adapters as I want to use other hardware that uses USB2 and there's only one on this laptop.
Sound still doesn't go as loud as I would like as was the last Omen.
One thing that I had problems with. Could you stop making OneDrive start up immediately? Ask whether wanted or not first? I had turned it off on my last laptop as it was very annoying and it tried to start up my EA game with Origin, not the EA App and it was a long time before I realised the problem and sorted it out. One of the things one wants when buying a new machine is to start afresh, not continue with the messes before!
I've got two external harddrives of 2 Terabytes to collect my documents. OneDrive keeps telling me it's deleting thousands of information and that worries me.
Microsoft's Copilot can be amusing but as a reference librarian of many, many years it's much better on stuff from 2000 on than before. Also has a tendency to debunk anything paranormal/consciousness etc. and I see that as bias.
