Holds up well to industrial abuse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fold5 has held up to the harsh conditions it encountered during the course of it's last year with me at work. The camera could have been better, and the screen protection was great for about 8 months.

I Love My Galaxy Z Fold5, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone, as it allows for seamless integration across apps. It also has a larger viewing screen, along with motion sensor swiping for both pictures, and screen resizing. The HD screen itself, is also a great feature, crisp and clear.
However, I am honestly surprised (and frustrated) by both the screen, and screen saver; which seem to have developed problems very early into it's use. This is a disappointment, & honestly one of the only problems that I've ever had with Samsung phones.
As a lifelong Samsung user, I can confidently state that 'I love Samsung!' And, would appreciate these minor issues attended to in any upgraded models.
Also, I can see that they have already successfully integrated AI into features such as screenshot capturing. This is a great new feature as well.

In addition, this phone does have wonderful cameras, with excellent Samsung camera features. However, the one problem that I have with this feature is regarding the intermittent sensor picture capturing, when I hold up my hand. It often takes 3-4 times of trying, in order to recognize my gesture. This was also prior to any screen damage.
So, ...I know that Samsung can deliver even better quality; as they are the best 'in that game.'
This is part of what makes my experience with Samsung 'worth the wait for a new model.'

The Z Fold5 features an impressive 7.6" screen that enhances gaming, offers cinematic viewing, and boosts productivity like never before. You can enjoy a movie-watching experience on the bright 7.6" Main Screen without worrying about direct sunlight ruining the view. We noted your concerns regarding the screen as well as its ability to detect your gestures. In regards to the screen itself, we recommend looking into our Z assurance program. Samsung's Z assurance offers a one-time discounted repair for the interior folding screen of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip devices purchased in the U.S. from authorized distributors before July 31, 2024. To qualify, you must register your device with a Samsung account. This offer is limited to the original purchaser and does not cover second-hand devices. The promotion applies only to the interior folding screen and excludes other repairs like the front screen or back glass. You can access this service through Samsung’s support page by selecting ‘Start a Repair’ and following the instructions for either walk-in or mail-in service. Additional damages will be assessed separately, and if deemed out of warranty, additional costs may apply. We also recommend ensuring your phone is up to date so that all the features and apps function properly. If this continues, we may need to take a look at if your phone's screen is affecting this. The Fold is different than anything out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Th Z Fold series is incredible and changes the way that we traditionally use our cellphones.. it is very fluid and can run anything with ease. Folding open to the large inner display allows so much to be done.
Showing photos to friends on the display is awesome because of the size. The outer display is hard to use due to its small nature. But back to photos the main flaw of this device is the camera system. I wish it had the same setup as the ultra. For the amount of money you are paying I think we should get the best.
Overall the device is amazing and runs anything you throw at it. Some apps do not take advantage of the inner display and it is annoying. Android has so many options though.
I have a set of earbuds from Samsung that work well but no where near as well as when I had airpods. Sometimes my Samsung devices don't connect right away. When they do work they work well. Overall the experience is great.

The best phone I have ever owned

Colleagues and customers always ask me what I think about my Samsung Galaxy fold 5. I give them a quick tutorial and they're always amazed how effortlessly I can go from phone calls camera word documents and other apps that I use constantly. I cannot live without my phone and in my home my refrigerator washer dryer stereo TVs and other multimedia devices or Samsung. I'm a loyal lifelong Samsung customer.

I honestly expected more.

I could have bought a much cheaper phone for better quality. I would have rather bought a galaxy 24 ultra instead of this phone.
