Regardless, I went for it anyway.
Y'all, I AM AMAZED.
I've had this phone since August 2023. It is now the end of December 2023.
I still am finding new incredible features. This flagship phone (I have the zFold 5) is incredibly reliable. I put a case on it (of course) and I have dropped it several times. Functionality is exactly the same as when I purchased it. NO SCRATCHES, NO DENTS, NO NONSENSE. All of the features work seamlessly, absolutely no errors in processing, battery life is excellent, and the second fold-out screen is EPIC. It is a very powerful phone. I can easily switch between tasks at work and at home. The graphics are great. it processes commands very quickly. It's like having a second laptop. I AM SO HAPPY I got this phone. You will NOT be disappointed.

Hinge change is a big improvement.

I have had the fold 5 about a month now and I can say that the hinge while not a massive change, is the biggest improvement in my opinion. I used to have issues with alot of dust and lint getting to the inner screen and constantly having to wipe it off which is not and issue anymore. The phone sitting completely flat when folded is a good change as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my foldable for movies games and social media the bigger screen is awesome and I don't think I'll be able to go back to regular phone screens I have a few nit picks that could be better but I'm sure as they move along those would be addressed I traded my iPhone 13 pro max and do not regret it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my fold 5 for work and pleasure. The big screen is a Godsend. I have big fingers and have trouble using the small keys on standard phones. My only complaint would be the battery life. Not bad but could be better.

Fold world has come to stay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just switched from the F3 to this F5 and I'm mezmerized on how upgraded the Fold design has become. It's lighter, the crease is there but as a fold user I can't even really see it anymore.
The upgraded chip is super efficient with whatever you throw at it.
Display is beautiful and colorful.
Also, this switch of phone was super seemless, completely wireless and the esim is another super upgrade. Love the F5
