[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you want something simple you use one screen only. But when you unfold device you see the best thing. There is more to see always on a fold device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic form factor, can replace multiple devices (tablet, laptop - with Dex or AR eyewear), great screen to consume written and a/v media. Need better cameras, ability to use s pen on front cover....and writing is stifled intermittently with the camera bump and hinge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't jump into the Fold until the 3 since I'm an S Pen user. The Fold 3 was a game changer and the first time I (or anyone for that matter) could carry a water resistant pocketable foldable tablet with an active stylus. But it was thick, closed awkwardly in a wedge shape, and had problems with the screen protector coming off, screen failing, etc. And the battery life was terrible. The Fold 4 was a massive upgrade in battery life, but a downgrade in almost every other respect. The hinge felt cheap and failed quickly from regular use. The 5 finally folds and unfolds the full 0-180°, no screen or screen protector issues, battery is far better than it has any business being (7+ hours of screen on time on the big screen), it flies through everything I can throw at it, and so far the durability has been top notch. The device is an absolute joy to use in every way. Foldables are hard, and it took even a massive company like Samsung 5 tries to get it right. But this time they did. This device is near perfect. The slimmed down s-pen and accompanying case are as good a solution to store the s pen onboard as we've seen yet, and just a step away from an internal silo. This is not a phone. It's a pocketable powerhouse productivity computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The redesign has been refined since last year’s model, ditching the wedge shape and folding flat when closed owing to the same new hinge design as the Z Flip 5 – a big improvement. The device is thinner and 10g lighter than its predecessor, and the crease along the screen fold is less visible.
It is still thicker than a regular phone, but it is only 13g heavier than an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It certainly feels less of a burden carried in the pocket and is significantly lighter than its key rival.
The external 6.2in display is a little narrow, making the keyboard slightly cramped, but it is good-looking and works well enough for phone-related activities such as messaging, music and other quick things. For everything else, the 7.6in internal display remains a wonder to behold when unfolded.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being 70% disabled and one that cannot stand to be kept inside all of the time it's nice to have something so small to do some standard things with like a simple phone call, text, or playing a good game or watching videos. But when you open up the large screen and can sit there and REALLY seeing gaming graphics and videos with this option, it can open up a different door to the outside world whenever I can't get out bc of my disability or even the weather. Samsung phones have always been hard to beat and the Zfold 5 is just another example of that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy any of the streaming features yet. This product keeps saying no network connection and emergency calls only. I first purchased the phone in October 2023. I was sent back and forth to the service department. I finally got exhausted and sent it to Samsung because it's a Samsung is the manufacturer. I have the z-fold 5now. I had the same problem with my z-fold 4 so I upgraded. I purchased my fold 4 brand new unlocked on November 25th 2022. I started having network problems in July 14,2023. From July 14th 2023 until January 3rd 2024. I've had a massive headache and frustration with the fold. I returned my phone at least 3 times because I thought I purchased a defected product. I sent it to my fold 5 to Samsung for repair I don't know what they did to fix it and they didn't explain the problem. I sent it about two to three days after the new phone again I took it to my carrier same results. No network connection emergency calls only. I sent it to Samsung with my screen protector they returned it to me without the screen protector. I asked if they could accommodate me with a simple upgrade to 1T. I already ha the pro 2 Buds and I upgraded my titanium 5lte to the classic 6 47mm lte. Samsung still hasn't replied to my request. I've been a constant galaxy since before note 5.
