Close To Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has come so far with foldable. I had tried previous iterations of the fold but they just weren't "there" yet. The form fact takes some getting used to, but after 2 weeks I'm well into it and will never fo back to a brick phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for watching videos, remote work on my laptop, large excel files for calculations, multi window for study, some gaming on the side. Only thing that comes to mind is wishing the phone was half inch shorter, half inch wider. Would help with texting on the front small screen and viewing on the big screen.

Phone Excitement is back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] until about 8 years ago phone updates were exciting. Each time a new flagship version came out it was much bigger or better and if the hardware didn't change much the software did or if the software didn't change a bunch the hardware did. Then we landed on the doldrums. Each new flagship phone was meh, maybe added a few new features, maybe the bezels were another mm less thick...etc.
Now enter the fold. When I got the fold it was the first time in almost a decade that I was back to the wow factor. You unfold it and a new world opens up. It truly feels more like a small tablet than a large phone. And when folded you are not holding some huge tablet to your head, feels like a normal phone.
The amount of tasks, and things I can accomplish on my phone went up big time. Now if I'm brining my kids to a swim lesson I don't feel like I need to lug my laptop around to get anything meaningful accomplished. The multitasking feels more like a computer where you can see two things at once like email and calendar or maps.
Finally as a parent I can tell you I've gotten amazing pictures of my kids simply due to the second screen. Its soo much easier to get them to look at the fold when it shows them a preview of what the cameras shot looks like on the second screen. Instead of begging them to look they look and pose and love seeing what they look like while the picture is being taken.
