Best Phone Ever!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several Samsung phones and none have been more satisfying than the Z Fold5. Reading digital books is an experience unlike any other on this phone. The games are responsive and look incredible on the larger screen. Browsing websites on either the front or larger folding screen is a breeze. The fingerprint reader is much better than previous versions and is not hampered by a protective case. Samsung does it again! This is my 5th Samsung phone.

Amazing device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time iPhone user, I have to say that this phone is a breath of fresh air. I'm deeply embedded within the Apple ecosystem so it's highly unlikely that I'll never own an iPhone but I also run a consulting business so I decided to get a second phone to keep things separate and organized. I researched multiple options and ended up with the z fold 5 and I have to say, it's incredible. I find that it's the device that I most often reach for when I need to do something. It's great for multitasking and note taking and seeing that my clients are primarily startups, most of which are operating on a shoestring budget, the google suite of products (sheets, google docs, etc) are heavily relied upon so it's nice to have that level of integration with Android OS. Overall, I love this phone. I've seen opinions online where people say "folding phones are a gimmick" but I can assure you that this is not the case.

I really like this foldable device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I call this a foldable device because it isn’t just a phone its a tablet a TV a pocket computer It is everything I have wanted in a hand held device. I am a fan of the smaller form factor I went from the notes to the s series ultra because the large screens I do everything on them for work I edit word excel PowerPoint and a larger screen is very helpful. with the fold 5 it is even better I love the optional s pen I use it every day. On my down time I like to play games not cheap games like candy crush graphically demanding games diablo immortal Mario cart tour never missed a beat. dont get me started on how cool and usefull Samsung DEX is now the reason I gave 4 stars not 5 for as big as the phone is it should have included a s-pen that goes into the phone a few generations ago and the inner screen although as great as it is, is very delicate and very hard to find screen protectors that will stay on a folded device thr screen protector is not Samsung’s fault but if the screens were stronger the screen protector would be unnecessary. I would highly recomend this for power users, office folks, Gamers or anyone that wants a tablet that fits in their pocket.

This phone is Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this phone daily for email, texting, social media, gaming, media, and streaming music on my Sonos speakers.
This phone runs so smooth and always ready for anything I throw at it. The Battery life is way better than I thought possible, and I've never even tried it in Battery saving mode. It lasts a full day and always has some left over.
I originally bought the Z-Fold 5 for enhancing and enlarging print, making it easier to read emails and messages. But, the larger screen is also great for streaming video and games.
I'm so glad I waited a few generations to purchase a Fold, the crease is diminishing, the spine has a much better design, making it more rigid and solid. The waterproof design has saved me a couple of times, once even falling into my cereal bowl. I used a dryer on low heat and the USB-C power port was fine.
I can't say enough good things about this phone, and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a foldable phone.

Galaxy Z Fold5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Galaxy Z Fold5. I had the Galaxy Z Fold3 prior to this phone. I use it to video myself golfing, or NFL and MLB games i go to. Mostly i use it connected to a 27"4k screen and DEX is great. I rarely even turn on my Windows computer. The camera upgrade from Galaxy Z Fold3 is great.

Much better than the previous models

With the previous models, dust was always getting trapped under my internal screen protector with this one I have had zero problems since I got it.

Early Adopter To Mainstream Star

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over a decade of being an Apple consumer across the board, I had noticed that Apple simply was not innovating their product in a way that matched the price for their product. Sure, each year it seemed there was another camera added to the mix, but nothing ground breaking.
I then realized that many of the products I used were, in fact, not Apple based at all.
I had decided to purchase my first Z-Fold 2! A foldable screen that allowed me to enjoy a smart phone just like a regular smart phone with the added upgrade of a foldable screen, a larger screen, really fun features attached to the camera (which is sharper than the iPhone cam) and so much more.
The original question was the 'hinge'. I never had an issue with the hinge and now onto the Z Fold 5, the screen seamlessly folds out into a larger screen allowing you to, for example, watch movies on a long flight. Multiple Lock Screen picture or even video upgrades, camera feature that allow you to take pics on voice command and so much more.
Highly recommend the switch, Samsung has stood by their product since Day 1.
