Now it smells musty and my towels are still wet.

For starters it's an air purifier, that can add dehumidifying option you can't just pick dehumidify and it takes days to fill up on high in a very humid environment.
I needed it for my basement washroom because the fan doesn't work very well and is too loud to have on at night. It's not a big room but even on high all the time I see no difference aside from now its musty smelling when i dont use the fan much less than before when it's mostly an air purifier!

If you have minimal humidity, great, but this is more of an air purifier that will give you a little bit of water for you office cactus.

This unit works pretty well, it takes about a cup or two of water out of my small bathroom air each day, and the air smells moderately cleaner. It definitely isn't the most powerful for either of it's functions, bit given its a dual unit and it's price range, it works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick to Break

Unsatisfied with this dehumidifier for different reasons. Firstly, it quickly develops a "beard of frost" when close to O degrees. Secondly, didn't make it into a 2nd year of operation. Poorly designed or faulty product. For high cost I expected something more of quality. I wish there was more support from Best Buy as well as JS Vanguard in support of asking for replacement or refund.

Bright lights and app is a paid subscription

Not ideal for a bedroom filter if you want to use it at night. The lights are too bright to sleep with it in the room. The app is a paid subscription.

Working great now

Initially, I had little success with the unit. After contacting the team, I was made aware that I can not run these dehumidifiers in the basement when the temperature is near freezing. After turning up the heat a little, the unit is run great now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Been running the unit on the boat and am getting consistent output. You can feel the difference when the unit is on, both in air quality and humidity. Once the tank fills up, it stops automatically, and I empty it about once every 2 to 3 days.
The filter is also quite cheap (if you get the dual pack). One dual pack can last you 8 to 12 months, which I think is a pretty good deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

two in one goodness

It is not the most powerful unit, so don't expect it to pull like 10 L of water out of the air everyday or keep your whole house's air cycled and clean at every moment. However, it is a nice little unit that does a little bit of both (dehumidification and air purification), in a small space, it does it pretty well. Running this in the attic this winter really kept the moisture in check for me. I would recommend having one of these handy whenever you need to keep small space dry.
