Now it smells musty and my towels are still wet.

For starters it's an air purifier, that can add dehumidifying option you can't just pick dehumidify and it takes days to fill up on high in a very humid environment.
I needed it for my basement washroom because the fan doesn't work very well and is too loud to have on at night. It's not a big room but even on high all the time I see no difference aside from now its musty smelling when i dont use the fan much less than before when it's mostly an air purifier!

If you have minimal humidity, great, but this is more of an air purifier that will give you a little bit of water for you office cactus.

This unit works pretty well, it takes about a cup or two of water out of my small bathroom air each day, and the air smells moderately cleaner. It definitely isn't the most powerful for either of it's functions, bit given its a dual unit and it's price range, it works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unsatisfied with this dehumidifier for different reasons. Firstly, it quickly develops a "beard of frost" when close to O degrees. Secondly, didn't make it into a 2nd year of operation. Poorly designed or faulty product. For high cost I expected something more of quality. I wish there was more support from Best Buy as well as JS Vanguard in support of asking for replacement or refund.

Bright lights and app is a paid subscription

Not ideal for a bedroom filter if you want to use it at night. The lights are too bright to sleep with it in the room. The app is a paid subscription.
