We purchased this range hood as I love to do a lot of cooking and this thing sucks-meaning it sucks all the odours and smoke from the kitchen to the outside.
We liked it so much our neighbours bought one, I can smell their dinner cooking from my home-which shows that it completely eliminates cooking odours and smoke.
It is simple in design, but has big power. Definitely worth the $.

After searching for the right hook, I found hauslane, good price, great reviews. I bought it two years ago.
Definitely it does the job!…It sucks, exactly what it supposed to do! Also one important feature about it, is fairly quiet.

I was a little skeptical because it's not a big brand, but I took the leap and I'm glad I did. The hood works great! I especially like how quiet the fan motor is, and the suction power is great - my wife cooks on a wok, and she cooks on high heat so there is always smoke. This unit sucks in all of the smoke which reduces the cooking smells in the house. I love it. The only thing I don't love about this hood is that you have to power it up to turn the fan or the light on. Most other hoods don't have this extra step. But, it's a small price to pay for a fan that does so much!
