The hood is tastefully designed. Quality appears good. Just installed, so have not used much. Installation was easy, except that my electrician installed the receptacle right where the body of the unit sits, so I had to direct wire and reroute the cord through the unit.
We are very pleased with this choice for our kitchen remodel. The range hood provides the look that we wanted - contemporary and clean looking. Our contractor had no installation problems, and we are happy with the performance.
Looks good when finally put up - but install was surprisingly difficult. The included screws/supplies are different than what was listed in the manual, and they don't explain what a few of the parts are for. They also gloss over the ductwork piece of it (a pretty important part)
This hood is as beautiful in person as it is on the web. Carefully packaged and shipped rapidly with emails or texts telling me when it would arrive. I plugged it in before installing and it worked great, a bit louder than I hoped. But I appreciate the volume of air moved more than the low noise, so I'm good with the blower. I wish the directions were a little more detailed for the DIYer. I was lucky to find a stud where I wanted to mount the hood, but not sure how the venting and chimney installation would go before I did it. Also, I didn't give any thought to where or how I would plug it in and hide the cord. That is my fault, but a paragraph in the instructions about wiring would be helpful.
We bought this range hood to add to our remodeled kitchen. It blends well with our other appliances as I imaged. More importantly, it does the job to keep the air in our house clean and take out the smell. I had to use setting no. 3 for deep frying. It is loud, but it’s not too bad. We rarely do it, just once in a while. It is easy to clean the baffle filter, as it said in the brochure.
