Elegant solution for a non-vented hood

Absolutely love this product. We are doing a major kitchen remodel and were looking for an elegant non-vented hood that would fit in our kitchen and this one is perfect. It was very easy to install with a little lifting help from a friend and works very well for our needs. The lowest 2 speeds are more than adequate most of the time and the noise level is low. The 2 higher speeds are noisier but not bad, especially in comparison to our old hood (which was also non vented). This one has charcoal filters that can be changed every few months if you do heavy cooking and easy to remove grates that can be easily removed and washed in the dishwasher. Also love the LED lights, makes it easier to see what you're cooking. The 60 second timer is also great if you want to walk away from the stove but leave the hood blower on for a while longer. Overall a very good product that is a very good value. The guys at Hauslane too are very responsive and terrific to work with...very professional and good communicators with regards to questions. Overall a very positive experience with them.

Powerful hood, sounds and feels like as if 1000 cfm. It's a commercial grade.

Powerful hood. Noise level is high but clears all smells and smokes. It has a remote sensor but the package does not include a remote control. Lighting is good. The clock setting is a little hassel. I still could not change the minutes.I tried instructions from the manual, but not able to change. Overall a good hood.

Perfect for our new kitchen

We did a total kitchen renovation and replaced our over the stove microwave with a beautiful stainless steel Hauslane hood. We absolutely love it. Sleek, quiet and looks great in our white kitchen.

Good looking range hood. Like the simple industrial look with the glass. Haven't installed yet but planning on this where L weekend. I've installed a lot of vent hoods over my 20+ years as a contractor and this vent nicely built. It's going in my kitchen remodel in our farm house remix design. I'll update post once it's up.

Just wish it was a little quieter but I guess if it were the suction wouldn?? work as well. The logo is very prominent. Especially with it being right on the black touchscreen. Otherwise it looks nice, very modern and sleek.

Great performance and quality

I installed the hood myself. It is pretty heavy, so I had to put a reinforcement in the wall. The hood comes with a regular plug which did not work for me and I had to cut the power cord. I think attachable plug would be a more universal solution.It's been 4 weeks since I installed it and I like it so far.The hood's motors (dual motor) are very powerful. the hood has 3-speed modes: the max mode is very performant but makes a lot of noise, so it is basically impossible to talk while it is turned on. Regularly I use it on the lowest speed and it is enough almost always. The lights are very brightSome negative:You better to not touch it anywhere but the sensor panel, otherwise fingerprints would be everywhere. I did struggle using the sensor panel to start\stop the hood but eventually got used to it.Previously I ordered an under cabinet hood (it was damaged so I had to return it) made by Hauslane, and that model had aluminum fan blades and covers. But in this model, they are made from plastic. I do not think it makes any difference in performance but they looked more sturdy.Overall, my experience is positive and I would recommend as an alternative to other more expensive hoods.
