Screen Cracked while traveling. It was in its protective case and also in a laptop bag and STILL cracked. The product is fragile and not good for portable travel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The portable monitor is easy to hookup and use and it works with both my HP laptop and MacBook. However, the cord is too short to physically position the monitor to the right of my laptop, so I am constantly losing track of the cursor. I have to move it to the right of the laptop screen to access the portable monitor that is situated to the left of my laptop.
