Hello Martha Toner is a valuable resource and it helps to treat it as such. There are several ways to save on toner. Start by using regular paper which absorbs better. Avoid text-heavy pages complex designs and photos. I would also count each page. Scan the screen for errors before printing. Ink is always high quality and fair priced. However Being a Senior I would like to suggest an easier way to remove the clip from the cartridge. It is difficult to remove with arthritis in my fingers. Thanks
