The blade has great width that allows for super knuckle clearance. The handle is very comfortable for both standard and pinch grip. SG2 steel starts and stays sharp. The wraps make every one unique.

Bob Kramer is one of a few Master Bladesmiths and we partnered with him on this line to make them available to the general public. Owning a BK knife is not the easiest thing in the world to accomplish, but we got you! This beautiful SG2 super steel knife if super sharp and with a more acute angle than most knives. This knife will stay sharp longer and is extrememly durable. Gorgeous 101-layer damasus design will be your pride and joy in the kitchen!

I've always been an admirer of Bob Kramer's work. Of course like most folks buying a custom Kramer is inconceivable. This knife gives me the beauty and craftsmanship at a much more attainable price. I love japanese blades and the Damascus style of this blade is breathtaking. I really like the chevron style design. I also like the wider style of the blade. It gives more room for my large fingers that most knives do not. Every inch of this knife is a beauty, from the blade through the Kramer pin in the handle. A real jewel in my kitchen

The Ultimate Chef's Knife

This Euroline Damascus chef's knife is popular for it's convenience and it's beauty. No special blade or handle maintenance required. The Micarta handle is durable and moisture resistant. The blade is a core of SG2 steel enveloped in 100 alternating layers of nickel and stainless steel and finished with a handsome Chevron Damascus design.
When I start working with the knife, I appreciate it all over. Each cut is a reminder of how finely sharpened the knife is. Each stroke shows how easy it is maneuver, even the long knives. And the large handle is a comfort to a finger that is developing arthritis. These knives are very easy to keep up the maintenance. Each knife sharpens so easily it makes me think I am much more skilled that I really am. LOL
Whatever line you select, a Kramer 8-inch chef's knife is a joy for anyone who likes knives and enjoys cooking. It is a slice of American culinary culture (pun intended).

Great all around knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great knife. It feels like it was made for my hand. The sharpness makes quick work of cutting an cantaloupe to dicing onions. This knife makes cooking enjoyable again.

Father's Day Hooray

My kids and I purchased this for my husband for Father's Day this year. This was one of the few times we didn't have to return the next day. My ever fussy knife loving hubby is absolutely in heaven!
The knife is just beautiful and has a gorgeous chevron design in the damascus steel. He loves the wide blade, and curved bolster which makes the knife feel so comfortable in the hand. It is also thicker in the middle which makes for a very well balanced feel. Worth every penny, especially seeing the look on his face when he opened the box!
