The Good and Not So Good

I have a love/hate relationship with the Soundcore Sport x10. I purchased these after reading the specs and reviews.
I love listening to music, podcasts or audio books while working out or just doing things around the house. I found the corded ones often got caught up on things so I thought I'd try cordless.
Pros:
- GREAT sound!! No complaints at all.
- very customizable for sound and controller capabilities.
- tethers to bluetooth with no problem.
- definitely sweatproof.
- earpieces last about 5.5 hrs between changes
- the charging pod charges quickly and is great for storage and transportation.

Cons:
- regardless of the size of the rubber tips I use, I find the earpieces do not "pop" into the ear canal as well as my Samsung corded ones. I actually get better "sound canceling" with my corded ones because they fit more snuggly into the ear canal.

- the rubber hoops that go around the ear are too short and too flexible. The hoops get caught in my long hair One flick of the hair and the earpieces goes flying. So, now I only use these with my long hair tied up in a ponytail.
- controller buttons, being on the top of the earpieces instead of on the side, makes pausing somewhat of a pain. These buttons are also very tiny which only adds to the difficulties (and I have small fingers).
Conclusion:
I love these for their sound quality, the fact that they come with their own transportation pod that doubles as a charging pod is so handy.
Unfortunately, I don't think I would buy these again ONLY because they don't stay in or on my ear as well as I had hoped.

I am upgrading from a set of JBL Endurance Peak II headphones, and will use those as a basis of comparison. First, I will mention that I prefer using earhook headphones because I find most non-hook earbuds pop out of my ear, regardless of what t ips I use.
1. Comfort: I find these very light and comfortable. The earhook feels quite soft and lightweight, but it seems to hold in place regardless of what activity I am doing. Much more comfortable that my previous JBL set, which would start to push into my ears and hurt after an hour or so.
2. Sound: Great, crisp sound. I haven't installed the app to see if it affects anything, but without it, the base sound profile is pleasant. I found the JBL's were good, but a little heavy on the low end. Bass on these is not as punchy, but also sounds a lot more crisp.
3. Features: Noise cancelling is decent for earbuds, maybe not as good as the Jabra set my wife uses, but better than the JBL set which lacked this feature. Good waterproof rating, which is why I chose these over the Skullcandy Push Active set. Controls are basic and easy to remember, but lacks a previous track option. The button for control is quite small, but not hard to use. Less convenient, but also less error prone than the touch\swipe controls on my JBLs. The twisting earhooks allow for compact storage, but less convenient for trying to put on with one hand.
4. Warranty: 18 month warranty in Canada. That is a decent amount of time, most (not all) companies stop after 1 year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Comfort: 10/10, fits perfectly and doesn’t hurt your ears

Solid earbuds. Mostly pros, few cons.

I tried the Anker A2 buds, which had excellent sound. But they popped out of my ears at the gym, and the touch controls were a bit finicky, so I returned them.
I knew I needed ear hooks and physical buttons. Since I was impressed with the brand quality, the X10's were an obvious choice. And they happened to be on sale at the time.
A few general notes before pros + cons, I see a couple complaints elsewhere that aren't issues for me. 1) "The buttons are too small." I've got big hands and they work great for me! 2) "The buds don't fit well in the case." They fit great! It just takes a minute to learn how they fit and which way the hooks swivel. Once you do, it's smooth as butter.
Pros:
- Super secure + comfortable fit. Don't feel the ear hooks or get fatigued during long-term use. But I don't wear glasses.
- Very customizable (and good) sound. All the stock EQ profiles didn't suit me though, so it took a bit to dial in my own settings.
- The Soundcore app in general is great. Quickly change settings and button functions.
- Love the charging case and the feeling when the magnets suck the buds into place.
- General quality of all components feels great.
- Bluetooth connection is strong with great range.
- Low profile in-ear. Buds are small and lightweight. So they don't stick out. And I barely notice them while in.
- 18-month warranty from Anker is a nice bonus.

That's really it! Happy with my (discounted) purchase. Not sure if I'd choose to buy them again, though. But time will tell. Based on my experience so far (~1 month) I expect these to last a very long time. So who knows when I'll even be looking again!
