I love, love my IS-200 over the island range hood.
It’s aesthetically pleasing and function beautifully The lights over the stove make it so much easier to cook. Also the service department was very friendly and helpful in every way; thank you Jared.

IS200 Island Hood

The hood is so good that is so easy to leave a review. I am very impressed with the IS-200 island installed model; the fact that the controls can be accessed from both sides is genius. Hauslane clearly understands what consumers need.

Ductless Installation works Great

I needed a ductless installation and found it impossible to find a review on any hood with this type of installation, until I found 1 for a Hauslane IS200 hood, That review said it worked great. We've only had it installed about a month but in that time the smoke alarms have only gone off once, but turning the vent on high and cracking a window a bit to assist with the airflow enabled the alarms to go off without me having to and fan them and open multiple windows and doors. As I get used to having a hood, I'll remember to start the hood earlier, I failed to do that.
I did gain some insight while researching. I have a 30" range, but I bought a 36" hood. I learned I should start the fan early to ensure the air currents were established before there was any smoke from anything and to also crack a window a bit to assist the 1000 CFM motor.
I am very please with the hood and even happier not to set of the the smoke alarms at the slightest bit of smoke from cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!
