It's a reliable product. The price is relatively high, but it provides me the peace of mind that my print jobs are always clean. The product performance meets or exceeds expectation.
Forced to buy the HP product because they updated existing software to block my functional cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I relate to your sentiments about being required to buy a new product. I think there has been a misunderstanding here, as you don't need a new cartridge. I will provide a solution.
Periodically, the firmware software automatically updates. Occasionally, these updates cause error messages. To counter this, revert to the previous software version. The cartridge should continue to work.
