the order came quickly. I like the high yield 9000 advertised pages, however my printer "supplies Status" report shows 7,200 pages remaining. Is the tonner short in ink or am I missing something?

The toner is perfect for our laser jet pro M26. Although HP claims 9000+ pages, a more real number would be in the high 7,000 range per toner cartridge. However, we never have difficulties with this toner cartridge. It prints away with high resolution until the toner is emptied. For our business, consistency, reliability and a predictive nature makes our success probability rise and hold steady.
HP could benefit themselves by either lowering the price or increasing the actual print page production.

Nothing to talk about yet. I bought HP toner cartridge hoping that the printer will last longer.
The label says it is Genuine HP. It seems that it was refilled. There was no plastic tab to pull out.
