Oops! Making the wrong purchase is never a fun process. I am glad you got a return accepted at HP. You can exchange the cartridge for another one. For the future, I have two suggestions. First, write down your cartridge's serial and product number. Use that information while ordering. The second idea is to join the HP Instant Ink program at www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/instantink/, so the cartridges are sent directly to you.
Smooth transaction. Products as described and delivered promptly. My only lament is the cost but I know better than to buy after market or generic brand cartridges.
