decent lightweight scanner

does a fine job as a portable scanner for archive work, relatively fast for 600 dpi TIFF files

The replacement toner cartridge was delivered promptly and in a sturdy box, old cartridge was easy to return, and the cartridges were easy to change out....but the toner was EXTREMELY expensive (HP should be more forthcoming about this when selling their printers)....
I would recommend this to a friend!

I made the mistake of ordering from a big box store toner that said it was HP, even came in an HP box, and was double the prints...but it was a counterfeit. Now I will buy ONLY from HP. Printer is great. Toner is great. Watch for counterfeiters! Read on the box in small print "HP compatible".. Stay away from those! You will get colored stripes on your pages. I love HP brand toner for my HP printer!

I admit to having tried cheap refills in the past from knock-off sources. Believe me, they are not a bargain in the long run if they gum up your printer. HP offers consistently good quality and you can depend on the cartridges delivering the page count advertised.

It's toner and it works just fine. Not too much to say. HP had a good price along with free 2-day shipping. I would order this product again if needed, but would also check the office supply stores for competitive pricing.
