Don't get the number of copies they claim. They claim about 800 copies. No way. The toners go empty way sooner than that. They are cheating us. I went out and bought an Epson EcoTank. Much better choice.

I am sorry that the cartridge didn't last very long. That sounds disappointing. The advertised estimates of pages are based on a standards set by the industry.
Your usage determines how long a cartridge lasts. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use up the cartridge faster.
It is advisable to use the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help you get more pages. Also most people find the X version of the cartridge to be a better value (if your printer can use those cartridges).

I thought it would print darker than it does.

I think this is one of my worst purchases. Its extremely unreliable. Some times it prints normally while others you could be waiting anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to bet a copy. Its so noisy, I cant be on the phone while its printing. If i could return it, I would. Its a very bad product.
