The HP inks are of course excellent, as is the HP printer. However I nevertheless have 2 complaints. First they are outrageously expensive. Second HP makes it undesirable to use otherwise usable 3rd. party inks. It is beyond belief that only HP can make suitable inks for their printers.
I thought that the ink cartridges that came with my new printer would last longer than they did. When I needed to replace them, the ordering process was easy. However, I did have difficulty finding the directions for replacing the cartridges. The instructions never said that all 4 cartridges must be replaced at the same time. I also needed to find a visual for removing the orange plastic thing. Granted, I am not very tech-savy, but I can follow directions if they are provided. I should not have to go looking for them.
It looks like the ink goes down a considerable amount as soon as you put it in. It is also ridiculously expensive. I do like that you can recycle the old ones for free. I don’t like that it has microchips in it.
