I entered my printer model # and trusted HP to direct me to the correct toners. I was in a hurry so I did not double check with my manual and did not look at my machine (it was first time ordering for this model). I was so excited to find the 3 pack for the laser printer. When I opened the toners, I discovered None worked--wrong size. So, I have 3 201 toners going back as "used" toners and I'm out of pocket the $$. Never do that again. Not HP's fault but I would have thought the printer would be linked to the correct toners. Now I do not type the model printer. I order directly using the HP number.

Response from hp.comBy Mary, HP Care, October 25, 2018
Hi there!
I am very sorry that this happened, but hopefully we can help with the exchange.
Please contact our product support team at 1-800-474-6836 Mon - Fri 8 AM - 9 PM (ET) Sat - Sun 8 AM - 9 PM (ET).
Please be sure to explain the situation, and how the order was placed.
HP makes their equipment to be quality-compatible only with their ink/toner supply; then they charge outrageous prices for the ink/toner. If you purchase other then HP ink/toner, the quality isn't as good, but the price sure beats HP.
I resent being hostage to HP's business model and as soon as I find a more cost-effective approach to printing, I will finally abandon HP -- having been loyal to this American brand for my entire career. I teach and have a small business and simply resent the cost of constantly having to replace cartridges at costs that exceed the original printers.
