Easy to adjust the height of and lightweight but sturdy. Note: I did need to use the included pads to keep it from sliding around on my wooden desk (they glue to the bottom of each foot stand). But once I put those on I haven't had any problems with the stand moving.

I purchased this item to put my TV on top and my DVD player below. The measurements were given as 18" wide and that was good because the DVD player measured 17" wide. However it would not fit. The 18" measurement was not usable space it was from outside to outside so the DVD player would not fit. It was too long. I returned the stand.
