This monitor stand was the most disappointing Staples brand item that I've purchased at Staples especially for the $50 price. While adjustable legs on a monitor stand is a great feature the legs on the Staples stand were only coarsely adjustable NOT tight smooth functioning or "lockable" making the stand difficult to level and to maintain that way. The worst feature was the "deck"! It was "concave" (NOT flat)so that even the circular base of the monitor that I bought at Staples could NOT sit level contact the base over the entirety of its circumference and therefore was NOT even remotely STABLE! POOR design and POOR construction! I returned this item and would definitely NOT recommend it to any other customer.
I got two of these from Staples because I saw them on Amzn and a few reviews noted that the stand came bent. My thinking was: "Hey Staples branded stands should be fine right? At the very least they'll be better than all the knock offs on that other website. I'll go ahead and spend a few dollars extra (on sale) for better quality." I was wrong. Both stands came a little bent and/or dented. Dents are negligible however one had a dip in the middle which makes my monitor a little unstable. The other stand had a broken foot. I didn't return them out of sheer laziness: I had just finished clearing off and reorganizing my desk to incorporate these - I wasn't about to do it again. Otherwise great stands. You can completely fit an Xbox One (original - the really big one) underneath with room for it to breath. I also have my Xbox 360 underneath the second one. Because of how cheaply they are made they should probably be much cheaper than what I paid for them on sale.
I bought two of these and they were both terrible. They wobbled regardless of what you did with the legs. One had a big dent in it. The quality is poor for the price. Taking them back.
