The monitor stand is strong sturdy and the height is adjustable at 6" 7" or 8". I placed a laptop computer (17") on top of it instead of a monitor. I use a separate Staples monitor stand to hold a second large monitor attached to the laptop so the screens are at about the same height. But you can interchange them with no problem. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed. Puts laptop up to correct level to look directly at instead of bent neck all day long. Good deal. Added together with wireless keyboard/mouse combo it works great.

Caught it on sale. No way I'd pay full sticker. But at half price definitely worth buying. My monitor is up at eye level and less body strain. Not worried about it tipping over.

Very sturdy and easy to adjust. Just wish it has no slip stoppers on the legs. It slides around if bumped on a smooth desk surface.

I got two of these stands. The adjustable heights are great but they are not as sturdy as I would like. I would assume sturdiness is a trade off of adjustable height options.
