junk, leak acid every time, can't be trusted

junk, seen packages in store leaking,
destroyed almost every item the batteries used in.

Not the Duracells of old!

Have had several Duracells leak, ruining 2 clocks. I always thought the premium price I paid was worth it, now I'm not sure?? This would have never happened years ago! Are these products still made in America??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There needs to be a Class Action Lawsuit Started

I have lost track of the number of devices destroyed by these batteries. The latest is a remote for my TV, the batteries had a 2024 date. I stopped buying the copper top when I started to find leaking batteries in new packages. I did call to report the problem and was sent a coupon for free batteries. It is probable that these replacement are the ones that leaked. What good are free batteries that damage what you use them in. I am now doing what I should have done years ago and replacing every Duracell battery in mine and my friends devices

Loud pop then found leaking, fizzing, battery.

I have used Duracell Copper-top batteries for years, but today, I had a scare. I was wearing my head-mounted work light, when I heard a “pop” followed by a sizzling sound. After spending a few seconds looking around for the source, I pulled the light from my head opened the battery compartment and found one of the three AAA batteries bubbling a small amount of fluid. Ripped it out, inspected the battery compartment and found no corrosion. It was spotless. Had to be an internal battery failure.

Long lasting batteries!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these Duracell copper top bathere's a while back to try out for my kids electronics. Awesome batteries for my kids high battery usage devices. I would recommend these Duracell batteries to anyone looking for a long lasting battery.

I bought this duracel battery for the remote control of my amplifier. I have used this for more than a year and it is still going strong. If u want batteries that will last long without you having to go for a replacement ever so often, duracel is the way to go

Duracell are the ones u can always rely to last longer and to not melt in the remote control. They are not so pricey and can get good deals.
