I've purchased bargain batteries before only to have them work for a couple of weeks before dying. When you need a dependable battery, choose Duracell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I appreciate most about these Duracell batteries is their lastability - twelve years in storage! Their lasting powers certainly vary with what they're used in, but I know from experience these will keep powering on for as long as you need them to and then some. It's a little thing, but I also like the way they look and feel. They're a bit heavier than other AA batteries, I think, and they feel extremely sturdy. Overall, these are high quality batteries from the way they look to their usage. While they're more expensive than some other brands, I think Duracell batteries will last longer, making up for the price difference.
