Works well to raise monitor. Would have preferred a wooden box-type stand with a drawer for desk essentials but this is a good substitute.

Really like this stand. Holds my oversized laptop securely (better than a shoe box). I purchased this stand to hold my laptop at the same height as my second large screen. With the laptop not elevated I ended up have my eyes shift up-down and then refocus. Irritating and I kept getting a headache after long day staring at the screens. Leveling out the screens stopped this. Under the stand platform is a good place for my keyboard when I'm using mouse exclusively or need desktop writing space. I've put off buying it because I can be frugal but I'm glad I spent the money. I'd recommend it. Much better than a shoe box.

I bought it to lift the monitor so I can place my laptop underneath that I connect to a docking station. It fits but too tight! I suggest buying a larger size.

It works. It gets the monitor up a few inches and I slide the keyboard under the monitor to get more space. Just that simple.
