It's Perfect

I got a new computer and monitor at work. The screen is large but much lower than my old one. I wanted to bring it up a little so I could look up rather than down at the screen. I checked the Staples website and found this great inexpensive monitor riser. I called our local Staples to be sure it was in stock. A helpful employee pulled one from stock and had it waiting for me. What a difference the 4" rise makes! There is even room now to store something under it if desired. There were other more expensive ones with drawers but I like the clean look of this metal riser. So glad I found it!

Exactly what I was looking for

I've been searching for months for a stand for my laptop. The standard laptop stands are expensive and don't raise the screen up high enough. This is perfect. I use an external keyboard so the height of the laptop's keyboard doesn't bother me. However it would be too high for anyone who uses the built in keys.The space under the shelf is an added bonus.

I use large monitors in fact I use 36" monitors and this elevates them with no duress. its sturdy and am not concerned it going to break or collapse. I looked at many and shopped around. I found this was simple enough and did the job I wanted it to do. I own 4.

AS A MONITOR RISER IT ALSO ACCOMODATES STORAGE OF THE KEYBOARD WHEN NOT IN USE...& THE ONLY THING TO CONTEND W/ IS THE MOUSE ON MY DESK WHEN I'M JUST BROWSING THE WEB. IF I'M MAKING NOTE OF SOMETHING ONLINE I ACTUALLY HV ROOM FOR NOTEPAD ON MY DESK. THE ORIGINAL RISER I INTENDED TO BUY FR ANOTHER MANUFACTURER WAS IN GUNMETAL GREY BUT I LOOKED AROUND TO SEE I THERE WERE OTHERS AVAIL & FOUND STAPLES' PRV LBL VERSION IN BLK & FOR LESS!!

A good TV lifter

I needed something that would lift my 22" tv from the present tv stand that I had so I could look at tv while lying in bed. Although this is suppose to be a computer monitor stand I used it for the tv. It did what it was suppose to do - lift up the tv.

Just what I needed

The replacement monitor I bought does not have a tilt adjustment but does have a slight downward angle of the screen. So I needed to raise the monitor up to get the proper angle for viewing the screen. This stand is just perfect and even allows some storage underneath it.
