I found that I was looking downward all the time when on the computer. Simply lifting the monitor up 4" made all the difference and now I can sit upright and look straight ahead to view the screen. And it cost a lot less than a monitor that lifts up and down. Give it a try!

Currently I'm a teacher at home ... working remotely. For hours each day I sit in front of my computer. My neck/back was getting quite strained and I my posture was awful. I got this monitor stand to raise my laptop which would force me to sit up straight and a bit higher. This was perfect and exactly what I was needing! I can also put materials and supplies underneath ... great space-saver too! It cost more than I wanted to spend but worth every penny!

Not good for everything it advertised

It does not work well as a riser for the printer since it is too small but it is great for the monitor riser. It is super heavy duty
