I replaced the old cartridges with the new ones and was disappointed that the new prints were so light they could hardly be read. I have never had this problem before and wonder if the black xl (which I have never before used) was the culprit.

I always buy the extra fill ink. I do quite a bit of printing for my crafts and for letter the XL seems to last much longer than the regular fill. The only problem is the cost !!
