Upon looking at the unit out of the box, one can easily recognize that the build quality of the unit is exceptional. The quality of the materials used far exceeds that of many other units costing far more! The controls are very intuitive and work well. (I wish the on-off switch had tactile touch to it so that it can be turned on easily in the dark.)
All the parts were included and the unit went up relatively smoothly.
The only other downside to the unit is that there isn't a variable switch to control the lighting on the unit. It's very bright but sometimes that's a useful thing.
The unit is built like a tank with its stainless steel look and the controls for the time and fan speeds are pretty intuitive to use.
Overall, I'd give the unit an AAAAA++++ and wouldn't hesitate in suggesting it to anyone looking for a new range hood!

Very sturdy and well built unit. High speed fan is a bit noisy but there’s really no reason to use it as the lower speeds are very good. There are no rattles or whistles. The work surface is well lit by the two lights. The delayed timer function is nice to have. We were able to get it on sale so that was a bonus. Looks great!!! Nice addition to our new house. Best range hood we’ve ever had.

Nice addition to our remodeled kitchen. I only wished their was levels to the lighting. on/off that is all. Love the dual fans. Great suction of smoke and such. Did have to do a few adjustments to screw placement. weighs a bit more then our old single blower hood vent. In the pricey range but well worth it.
