Great looking hood, looks like a professional kitc

I did a lot of research on hoods and I kept hearing about Hauslane being a reputable brand, particularly with how quiet they are. So far I can say that it is a pretty strong hood and doesn't make a ton of sound, even at the highest level. My only complaint is the bulbs are not that bright, but that can be switched out I suppose. I will say mine came damaged with scratches. I notified the company and they resolved it quickly.

A good choice

Unit does a great job of clearing fumes from both the cooking surface and oven underneath (oven vents behind the stove's cooking surface). The lights are near the front of the hood and user replaceable, so they provide good illumination on the cooking surface - many competitors have the lights in the back (not very helpful) and are permanently in the hood ( so they couldn't be serviced).
It's a bit loud even on the lower of the 5 fan speeds, but that's probably a trade-off for being good at clearing fumes. ( I would have given it 4.5 stars due to the loudness, but that wasn't an option).

Better than a Bosch

This vent hood is amazing! It draws so well. I think I prefer to even our Bosch that we had in our last home. We used to get a house filled with smoke from very simple things. Even cooking bacon in the oven would leave a horrid smell for eve real days. Now, very little smoke or smell escapes it versus our other vent hood. Even when cooking bacon in the oven we can place it under the hood and the smell is gone within 30 minutes. The lights are bright and the design is beautiful. It looks extremely high end. The only critique I would give is that the instructions were not as clear as I wished they would be. We installed the back vent piece upside down the first time. I also wish it came with a physical template for the cut out in the wall. We measured several times but were still off enough that it required extra work. For the price and function though, I would recommend this vent hood to everyone!

Function well, but awful installation

Now that it’s installed we are happy with it. However, the installation is absolutely awful. If I were to do it all over again I would choose a different range hood due to bad installation design.

Sturdy & Powerful Range Hood

The Hauslane range hood we purchased has been exceptional. Sturdy build quality, straightforward installation (does require 2 strong lads to install), and powerful air movement are the highlights after 2 months of use.
