Great suction in a budget

I was trying to find an alternative for my over-the-range mircowave vent. I wanted good suction power in a budget. After doing some research, I came across Hauslane. US-PS18 model fit my bill because of the high CFM and rear exhaust adapter fit my cutout. High CFM is very important for me because my kitchen is close to the living room and I don't grease accumulating in my sofa and TV over the period of time.
I like the sleek modern design. It elevates the kitchen's appeal. Having six suction levels is great. I use it in level one or two most of the time. I use level 6 only when I deep fry in high heat.
Installation was also simple.
Overall, I would recommend this product.

The installation and design were easy once I followed the exact steps. However, there is an engine noise, which we noticed before we did the installation, I would recommend anyone who checks and runs the machine before installation to avoid all the hassles.

WOW I absolutely love my new UC-PS18 !!! Everything from the appearance to the power of the fans to the brightness of the lights. And the install went very smooth as well.

This hood is great, quiet (as some wrongly disagree!), powerful, and a pleasure to use. Our kitchen is upgraded by this wonderful addition. Buy it and you won't be disappointed!!

Hauslane 30” hood fan

It’s a very powerful hood fan for the price we paid. Compared to the same price range of other brands, Hauslane is the most powerful one. I love the delay off timer feature. It is easy to install and comes with all types of adaptors for the vent. Highly recommend this.

Highly Recommended Kitchen Exhaust

I don’t expect much for this typical design kitchen exhaust, but after using for a week, I really think that money are well spent. The suction is very good, heavy duty and well fit to our daily use. I especially like the filter design, which can put into the dishwasher for cleaning. Overall is highly recommended !
