Powerful Ventilation: This fan offers excellent suction power, effectively clearing out smoke, grease, and odors in no time. My kitchen air feels much cleaner after cooking, even when I’m frying or grilling.

Easy to Clean: Cleaning is a breeze with the removable filters, which I can easily pop out and put in the dishwasher. No more scrubbing!

I installed the 36" model in about 35 minutes (including removing the old one). I did need an extra pair of hands to hold it up. Very simple and the instructions were great. The only feedback for Hauslane is - it would be good to include a template including the electrical cord placement (my old cord hole was off). This hood looks elegant and works great. The lights have only 1 setting (I used to have 2), but the brightness level and color that matches my kitchen undercabinet lights (i.e., not bright white) are perfect. All the features that cost extra for this unit are well worth it.

Total Elimination of Cooking Odors

The cost to performance ratio on this hood is excellent. I have a log home with a small kitchen with very poor ventilation. The odors from what had been cooked lingered for days, especially meat and seafood. I purchased and installed the PS 18 under cabinet hood and vented it through the roof. It worked like a charm. Its really powerful-- sucks up the smoke and odors leaving no residual odors in the kitchen at all. Its really remarkable.
